Kool Runnings Water Park is located on Norman Manley Boulevard in Negril, Jamaica. It is the largest and best water park in Jamaica sitting on over 5 acres of land. The park is a member of the World Water Park Association, with certified Lifeguards and Guides.
The park has both wet and dry park attractions, fun filled for the entire family. Choose from 10 different water slides some as tall as 40 foot in the air. There are several adventure rides and activities for the faintest of heart to the most daring thrill seekers.
The Adventure Zone is packed with varies rides to get your adrenaline pumping. Go-Kart racing, Jamboo rafting, Kool Kanoe Adventure and 4Spin Human Gyroscope. Interestingly, NASA uses these gyroscopes in the training and preparation of persons for outer space.
The slides are given names of popular Jamaican actions in the Jamaican dialect, landmarks, and tributes to Jamaican personalities and events. The Jamaica Bobsled is the largest of them all and was named as a tribute to Jamaica’s famous Bobsled Team. Relax on the Rio Bueno Leisure River that flows effortlessly around the park while you enjoy the scenic view of the landscape. The children can enjoy the interactive play area including Captain Mike’s Coconut Island. This attraction was named after Captain Mikie who was shipwrecked on the island for several lonely years. There is a mascot called Mikie Manatee, a variety of water games and a surprise splash with water. There are also the Red Snapper, Lightning bolt, Sly Mongoose, Duppy Conqueror the incredible 150 feet leap from a 40-foot tower, Green Grotto and Kick Puppalick meaning somersault.
No a water sport fan? Well go paintballing, try one of the many different paintball games under the guide of the well trained marshals. Outdoor Laser Kombat is similar to paintball but painless and paint-less. Using infrared hand-held transmitters to shoot beams to tag targets worn by each player that plays the game. The game is played outdoor in a simulated combat field.
Kool Runnings Water Park is also home to several bars, restaurants and café. Enjoy local dishes at the Sweet Potato Grill, traditional fast food items from The Dash-een Restaurant or try a few of the variety of snacks, treats, coffee or refreshing juices from the Guava Jelly Café. There are two sports bar: the Knot Out Sports Bar and the Kool Blendz Juice Bar.

Kool Runnings Water Park also caters for special events where you can rent the entire park to host parties, reunions, conferences and meetings, company parties, school events and church events.

General admission covers unlimited access to all slides and lazy river. However, the rides in the Adventure Zone are pay as you go and does not include admission to the water park.
